What Causes Pain In Chest, Back And Upper Abdomen After Smoking Meth?

I am a 20 year old male, I'm not a regular Meth smoker just tried it once before but this past week i did meth everyday. I haven't smoked since Thursday and now my upper back aches, I have chest pain and an upper abdominal stab like feeling. What could it be? Should I go to the hospital?

The simple answer to your question is yes. All amphetamines can significantly increase blood pressure which can cause damage to blood vessels and the heart. In addition the activation of that fight or flight feeling can casue muscle spasms/pain. Given your current symptoms you need to be evaluated to rule out anything like a heart attack or an abdominal aneurysm. In addition given your persistent use for 1 week, you likely need medical attention to help you wean yourself from this drug.

I hope thios helps
