What Causes Pain In Chest, Loss Of Appetite And Constipation?

I am a 24 year old female that is 5'8" and about 185lbs. I have never had any serious medical problems. For the past month I have been having pain in my chest (roughly from the sternum across the right side of the chest with the worst of it near the sternum). I was diagnosed with costochondritis but it has progressively gotten worse. Doctors have done X-rays, a CT scan, various blood tests, etc. and all that they've found is I tested positive for scleroderma but I am showing no skin symptoms. I've noticed the pain is only on my right side. It can go up to my shoulder and into my back near the right shoulder blade. I've also had less of an appetite than normal and have some constipation. Is this pain caused by a gastrointestinal problem or is there something more serious going on?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Your current symptoms like chest pain, loss of appetite, constipation etc are mostly due to GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease).
And your GERD is likely due to stress and anxiety.
GERD is seen because of laxity of gastroesophageal sphincter. Because of this the acid of the stomach tends to come up in the esophagus and cause symptoms of central chest pain, loss of appetite etc.
So better to avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
Take pantoprazole (antacid) tablet on empty stomach. For constipation, Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep your self hydrated and eat high fiber diet like green leafy vegetables, fruits etc.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
