What Causes Pain In Chest Post Intake Of Steroids And Antibiotics?
I am being sick with allergies for a month, i already have two steroids shot, the doctor judt gave more oral steroids, medicine for congestion and cough, allergie medicine and antibiotic. I am being taking the medicine for 5 days but today I noticed my upper back and my side back and my chest hurt whenI touch it
Muscle aches and pain can sometimes accompany viral or bacterial infections so it is possible that this is the reason for the pain that you are experiencing.
The use of pain medication would help. Since steroids are associated with a risk of irritating the stomach lining and this can also occur with some pain killers it may be best to avoid this type eg naproxen, ibuprofen, voltaren
You may want to try paracetamol to if this helps, if there is no improvement then you may need to see your doctor for assessment.
I hope this helps
