What Causes Pain In Chest While Running?

I have heart pain when I run and sometimes walk I am a fit 20 year old girl who run 4 times a week I am 5 1 and 110 lbs so not overweight, and don t have any other issues such as diabetes or high cholesterol, it is only recently and has happened in the past week, only thing that has changed is that I had two weeks off from running and since I have started back I have had chest pain. General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Chest pain maybe related to any structure in the chest from the skin inwards.

It is possible that the pain may not be related to the heart but another structure in the chest- bones, muscles, lungs

To determine the cause, a detailed history of the pain and any associated symptoms , examination of the chest, would be needed.

The treatment would depend on the cause.
I hope this helps
