What Causes Pain In Chest, shoulder And Upper Back?
I get pains across my chest shoulders upper back and arms nearly everyday along with pains in my nose and pain in my head (uzually fore head). I have been to my GP numerous times and have had ECGs done which have all been fine. I have had lots of blood tests done aswel which have all came back normal. I am really suffering because of my symptons and any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hello! Reading your symptoms and the test you have performed I would suggest you to make a X-ray of cervical spine and thoracic spine (neck and chest). Your symptoms sugesst for spondyloarthrosis thoracalis or cervicalis which cause changes in the vertebras of the spine by making their bone spurring and narrowing the intervertebral disk, as a result they pressure and irritate the nerve root (causing your pain). I would suggest you to consult your doctor for the X- ray mentioned above in order to confirm the diagnosis and the possibility of using pain relievers and physical therapy if needed. I hope I answered your question!
