What Causes Pain In Clitoris?

I have a yeast infection that I ve been diagnosed with but on top of that I have a very consistant pain going on in my clitoris and has been since before the yeast infection started, the clitoris doesn t seem to be getting better, it now has what looks like a blood blister and has been super sensitive and raw to the touch. I need relief more than anything. Ibuprofen doesn t help much but so far is all I ve got. Help please.

Hi there, I have understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

First of all do not panic.

Your symptoms can be due to bacterial infection of clitoris and surrounding areas.

Please start using Lactic acid containing vaginal wash during bath time on daily basis.
Local application of ointment containing antibacterial and antifungal and mild steroid agents will be of help.
Please seek prescription support from your treating doctor for a broad spectrum antibiotic containing Amoxicillin and Clavulinic acid two times a day for 5 days.

Please avoid handling or rubbing the area.
If possible try avoid sexual activity if you are sexually active, till the problem gets over.

I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks.
