What Causes Pain In Forearm Near To Elbow?

Hello I was in the desert chopping down a Mesquite tree and in one of those swings with the ax I hit it straight and felt a pain in my left forearm close to the elbow that was about a month ago and it still bothering me what do you think it is? Thank you
