Hello Allison!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I passed carefully through your question and would explain that your symptoms seem to be related to tension type headache or possible chronic degeneration of the cervical spine.

A wrong posture during the day may lead to such clinical scenario.

For this reason, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and some tests:

- a cervical spine X ray study
- complete blood count
- PCR, ESR for inflammation.

If all the above tests result normal, there is nothing to worry about. In such case correcting your posture would help improve your situation.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Wishing good health,

Dr. Iliri
