General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Based on the description you have posted, it appears you could be having inflammation of the tissues of heel and ligaments called as 'plantar fascitis'.
Kindly do the following to overcome it.
1. Keep your legs immersed in ice-cold water for about 15 minutes - once in the morning and once in the evening.
2. Take Tablet. Diclofenac sodium in sustained or extended release form once a day after food.
3. Apply local analgesic medication ointment or gel to the heel at bedtime.
4. Use heel guard in footwear to protect compression to heals.
Your symptoms should subside in about 3 weeks. In case, it doesn't get better, you might need to undergo physiotherapy along with medications.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
