What Causes Pain In Heels And Calf Muscles?

Hi, My husband is suffering from severe pain in the both the heels and in the calf muscles, he was tested with increase in the level of serum urid acid, which was treated, it is under control now, what could be reason and which specialist will treat him? Is it a vascular surgoen or a ortho doctor, please suggest.
