What Causes Pain In Heels Of Feet?

Experiencing pain in the heels of both feet upon first steps in the A.M. Previous plantar faciatis and so I stretch. The pain becomes discomfort throughout the day and never completely goes away even with Naproxin. Also unusual fatigue x about 3 mos. Needing to nap to function later in the day. Widespread achey feeling for just as long with joint and muscle discomfort also with Naproxin. Really feeling like I ve aged about 10 years in about 3 months. Nothing traumatic has happened, stress hasn t increased, or other known reasons to account for this situation.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Pain in the heels can be related to blood circulation in the feet. I recommend to use painkillers such as Gabapentin to relieve the pain. You can also use topical cream such as Capsain cream. If the symptoms continue, I suggest to consult an orthopedist and get evaluated.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
