General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Registrone is a hormone progesterone derivative. Progesterone acts by increasing more blood supply to the inner wall of the uterus.
You are continuing the dose of progesterone as a hormone in blood which in turn goes on increasing endometrial (inner wall of the uterus) thickness leading to a condary pelvic congestion.
This is the cause of pain in the pelvic cavity/simulates to hip joint pain because of the pressure on the sciatic nerve by congested pelvic tissue.
It would continue till the external supply of progesterone continues & this may cause breakthrough bleeding if goes for a longer time. Please consult your prescribing doctor for further adjustments.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
