What Causes Pain In Hips After Recovering From Hip Dysplasia?

I was diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia when I was born and had it treated accordingly. However, I'm currently 17 years old and I've been having pain in both of my hips (mostly the right one), especially after walking or exercise. I've played baseball for years, but recently during and after every game my hips feel very uncomfortable, weak and often painful. The same thing happens when I go for long walks. I also have some bruises on both hips, and I have no idea where i could have gotten them from. Ultimately, I'm wondering if maybe the treatment I received for Hip Dysplasia when I was a baby didn't quite fix it, and if the bruises and discomfort could be a sign of it getting worse.
