What Causes Pain In Index Finger And Wrist Along With Swollen Thumb?
hi , im a 59 your old male healthy, but cannot get rid of a pain from the tip of my right index finger to my wrist around the web to my thumb the area is swollen, itches and throbs ...I get some relief with putting my hand under cold water.... Alieve doesn t work

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern first thing and that need to be ruled out and this is chances of any infection because this such pain is very likely, and in my opinion I would suggest the following medicine for this,
1) Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times in day
2) Tab Acetaminophen 500 mg three time in day
3) Tab Cefdinir 300 mg twice in day ( In case of infection only)
take care and have a nice day.
