What Causes Pain In Jaws And Ears?

I occasionally have pain in my jaw and sometimes in my ears accompanied by a slight pain in my chest. I take a low dosage aspirin and rest and in a few minutes I feel fine again. It s happened a few times at work where I had a stressful job, it happened when I took my mother to the emergency room because we thought she had a stroke, it also happened when I was working outside and was exhausted. What is wrong?

Hello,

It seems like temporo mandibular disorder. This can cause jaw and ear pain and is more evident while you are anxious. You can use ibuprofen, ice pack, relax, jaw exercises, soft diet. If you don't feel better consult with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Blerina Pasho, General & Family Physician
