What Causes Pain In Knee At Fatty Part?

I am having some pain which comes and goes on the fatty part of the inside of my left knee. As I have gained weight in the past few months some has setteled there. I have had ortho knee surgery on the right knee but it doesn't seem like the same kind of pain.
