General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. If you have enthesopathy and no improvement on NSAIDs like advise (ibuprofen) you should go for local injection of corticosteroids like triamcinolone. If there is no improvement from that then your problem can be most likely from injury to internal structures of knee like meniscus or ligaments. A physical examination by an orthopedician will give clue for that and MRI will help you to confirm the condition. In such case arthroscopic correction will help you. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks
