What Causes Pain In Knee Radiating Towards Calf?

My left knee is painful , especially when walkin down stairs. It feels better when I flex it. The pain also seems t radiate to the calf and is also sore behind the knee. It it particularly painful on left side of knee. I didn t injure it, but I did work out a lot on the day it begain hitting, now going on 2 weeks. Sometimes, I can walk without much pain on flat surfaces.

I really appreciate your concern, such knee pain could be due to arthritic changes and osteoporosis in either case care need to be taken for not to bend the knee joint, and "Tab Diclofenac 50 mg" sustain release can be tried, you have not mentioned your age and gender else something more specific could be stated, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day,(Better to rule out the diabetes )
