What Causes Pain In Knee When Diagnosed With Cellulitis In Left Foot?

I recently contracted cellulitis in my left foot. Not sure how, but am on antibiotics. I felt some pain on the side of my knee, slightly higher towards my inner thigh. It s hot to the touch an rectangle (2cm) long. Seeing how it s the same leg as my cellulitis, is it connected? Thanks, Lesley

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, this may not be cellulitis but may be just induration (Swelling with redness) in such condition antibiotic is not advisable else if this was going to form the abscess then may turn into antibioma so just try NSAID (Non-steroid-Anti-inflammatory Drugs) and best option would be "Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times in day" if the symptoms does not improved then you need to go for clinical examination, hope this information helps, take care.
