What Causes Pain In Knee While Bending?

Hi, I am 30yrs old female. i get knee pain when i fold the leg.I consulted an orthopedist . After an x-ray, he didn't see anything wrong. Since 2 weeks, i have been hearing cracking sound while folding legs. I've happen to start morning walk 2 weeks back.By the way, i never met with any injury.What could be the problem. Please advise. Thank you
