What Causes Pain In Knees After Taking Diltiazem?

8 years ago, I noticed a soreness behind my left knee which didn t go away after being looked at and tested extensively by a neurologist I was taking LIPITOR at the time and as a test, stopped taking it--in 3-4 weeks, the pain disappeared and never returned ---until now. I am NOW taking DILTIAZEM for a heart problem and research I found two ingredients in both pills--magnesium stearate and microcrystalline cellulose. Any connection to explain pain behind knee, feels like pulling of tendon but goes away if I raise height of leg. Thanks for any help you can give--

Hi,

The medication you are taking has no relation to the knee pain, you should ask for MRI of your knee to know what's going on.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
