What Causes Pain In Left Bicep?

I am suffering pain in my left bicep. It is similar to cramp, but more like a strain. I have not put any strain on that muscle. The same cramp-like pain occurs sporadically in my right foot, legs or back. It definitely feels muscular but I have not done any physical activity. The pain is increasing in frequency and severity over a few months. I get around so I don t think its due to lack of activity.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

This could be due to muscle sprain, please apply the ice pack locally twice a day. A muscle relaxant will be helpful.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Haleema Yezdani, General & Family Physician
