What Causes Pain In Left Ear Radiating Towards Jaw And Cheek After Having Flu?

Hi I had the flu then I started to have pain in both ears I was given antibiotics it's been 7days and I still have pain in my left ear that spreads to my jaw and cheek and I have head pain and pressure on top of my head ,mucus is clear when I blow my nose

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that due to cold there has been infection in ear as well as.pain in cheek and headache seems to be due to Sinus infection or Sinusitis while jaw pain can be radiating pain from ear..
I would suggest you to consult with an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and an Otoscopic examination, PNS view or MRI of sinuses can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
You can be advised to take a course of antibiotics, anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, decongestant like Phenylephrine, anti allergics like Benadryl or Allegra, antibiotic and analgesic ear drops..
Saline nasal irrigation and steam inhalation can help.
Avoid chilled foods and air-conditioning atmosphere..
Avoid excessive water exposure to ears..
