Hello,

Pain in the left side of the head is commonly caused by migraine or tension headache. You should keep yourself well hydrated. Dehydration, hypoglycemia, low BP, skipping of meals, acid reflux, etc., can trigger migraine or headache. Avoid excessive exposure in the sun and stay away from strenuous lifestyle. Avoid addictions if any. Take acetaminophen, one SOS to ease discomfort. You can also take warm bath, drink caffeinated beverage to get relief. Do not skip meals take home made food, avoid oily-spicy junk food.

Since you are having difficulty in flicking fingers it is indicative of developing peripheral neuropathy. Get blood tests, NCV tests, biopsy & imaging tests done. You will be treated accordingly. Take food rich in vitamin B6, B12, vitamin E to help nerve repair. You can also take supplements. Get connected to a Physical therapist. Nerve repair may take some time, you should have patience. Control your blood glucose level at all cost.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
