What Causes Pain In Left Side Of Chest?

I am feeling a subtle pain I n my left arm, radiating between my shoulder and elbow. it comes and it goes. I am also experiencing subtle pain in the left side of my chest, it comes and it goes, but in the last few days I have been noticing it more often. is this serious?

Chest pain has a list of causes
.anxiety
.angina
.herpes zoster
.dyspepsia
.esophygeal spams
.heart valve abnormalities
.myocardial Infarction

I would suggest to go to ER and do an ECG chest xray and other blood tests if the pain persists...
