What Causes Pain In Left Side Of Head, Ear And Back Of Head?

My left side of my head hurts. My face, ear and back of my head hurt. This started last night so I took a decongestant and ibuprofen. I took another decongestant today. Now my head still hurts and now I m getting bad stomach pains near the top middle of my stomach.

Hi thanks for asking question.

According to history you could have viral flu.

Get your CBC done.
If lymphocytosis - viral infection
If neutrophilia - bacterial infection.

If bacterial infection suspected then antibiotic needed for it.

Viral infection treated symptomatically.

Continue with decongestant and antiinflammatory drugs.

Get your ear also examined as otitis media like condition can lead such symptoms.

Drink more water and fruits with green leafy veg for maintaining immunity.

If gastric pain more then omeprazole can taken for it to reduce acidity.

If still your symptom increasing then further work up done after detailed history and physical examination.

Wish you good health.

Take care
