What Causes Pain In Left Side Of My Back And Chest?

I hAve been having nagging pain in my back toward center on left side. I also have corresponding pain in my chest in same area...like the pain is going thru back to chest or visa versa. Doesnt seem to be muscular. Xray ruled out pneumonia 2 weeks ago.

Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your problem and situation.
In my opinion we should first rule out cardiac cause for your chest pain.
You are having left sided chest and chest x ray is normal, so possibility of cardiac cause is high.
So get done
1. ECG
2. 2d echo to rule out cardiac cause.
If both are negative then no need to worry much for cardiac cause.
But better to rule out cardiac cause first.
