What Causes Pain In Left Side Of The Rib Cage?

what could be causing my ribs to hurt on my left side. I went to the emergency room on Friday and was told it is pulled muscles. They did xrays, EKG, blood work, urine test, CT scan--everything was normal. But the pain is not going away, it seems like my breast is hurting now? I m very frustrated right now--I want to contact my doctors office, but I m afraid they are going to send me to ER again.

Hello,

I think it is a pulled muscle too. Taking count that your tests were normal then the most plot is just muscle pain. Taking acetaminophen or ibuprofen for ketoprofen will be helpful to reduce pain. You may need some days to get better.
