What Causes Pain In Left Upper Arm?

I had alot of pain in my right upper arm . Then it went away and I was thrilled, unfortunately I have alot of pain in my left upper arm now! I had done many tests a few months ago for the right arm and everything came back negative. What could this be.... it keeps me up at night.
