I am 19 years old. When I was 12, I had surgery done for inguinal hernia on my lower right abdomen. Yesterday, I had sex with my long distance boyfriend. The general area of the surgery wound began to feel extremely sensitive, almost to the point of pain, but not quite. It is severely uncomfortable. This has happened before, five months ago, when he visited me and we had sex again. We have rather rough sex, so I wonder if that might be the reason. I m worried my wound will rupture, or that it will affect our sex life. Also, because his visits are few and far between, I also wonder if the pain might be because of the sudden rigorous action. My wound also occasionally stings when the weather changes drastically, or at other seemingly random moments, lasting anywhere from a couple hours to a full day, and on rare occasions, overnight, as is with this case. Should I be worried?
