What Causes Pain In Lower Back Along With Severe Constipation?

I fell backwards off a ladder and landed flat on my back from a height of about 4 feet, since then I am suffering with lower back pain, either side of the spine and constipation for the past 6 days are these related and if so what course of action can be taken please. The pain has once again woken me from sleep.
