What Causes Pain In Lower Back And Abdomen Along With Bloating?

Hi, I am having low back ache and abdominal ache slight cramping, feeling a little bloated are they signs of a heart attack? I did take Cystex (2) late morning thinking maybe it was a unrinary tract infection because I am not emptying my bladder. Thanks.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
welcome to hcm,
I really appreciate your concern,
No it is not heart attack at all.
The pain that is intermittent in the upper abdomen is likely to be due to bloating.
You are not likely to get any detectable change in CT scan after 6 months. Any pancreatic pathology is not likely.
The gas, bloating and indigestion are commonly associated with a fatty liver.
You can do some dietary changes and see if it improves.
Pineapple juice, lemon juice, ginger juice, grapes, etc may be taken after every meal for relief.Otherwise take antacids and digestive enzymes on regular basis for relief.
For urinary symptoms do a routine urine microscopy that will let you know whether you have UTI or not. if yes then treatment will be accordingly.
Please let me know if you have any questions,
thanks.regards.
