What Causes Pain In Lower Back And Hip Along With Puffiness Of Eye?

my husband has been out of commission for 3 days now with lower back pain, hip pain, NO neck pain, he s urinating just fine, drinking fluids and seems to have no fever. his eyes are very puffy and don t look right. He s generally very healthy and active. We can t seem to find any tick bite or any other site specific irritation. could this be a viral infection settling in his joints?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Yes, it's possibly viral, but are your eyelids droopy or like ptosis? If so, then it can be an autoimmune issue. Anti-acetylchole antibodies test is required. Otherwise take lots of fluids (juices and coconut water). Take tab. Tylenol for symptomatic relief, Natalins Rx for a week. Also, do blood urea, s. creatinine, albumins, globulins and CBC tests. These will rule out any severity. Eat healthy; have gooseberry and aloe vera as they help.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
