About a week ago I ve started waking up in the middle of the night with night sweats. A few days later the symptom became accompanied by a persistent dry mouth. I m losing my appetite, there s a tightness in my stomach. And aa localized pain in the lower back of my skull. I ve seen little to no improvement with pain killers.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Let me tell you that the symptoms described by you suggest that you have Acid reflux disease.
I suggest using antacids such as omeprazole two times a day. I also suggest avoid spicy food. I advise you to increase the intake of oral fluids andhigh fibre diet (fruits/vegetables).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Arup Majumdar (General and Family physician)
