What Causes Pain In Lower Right Side After Kick Boxing?

after 2yrs of not prictisingkick boxing, my son got in the ring on Tuesday and was hit on his lower right side and it is now Monday and the pain still persist. all muscle pain has gone away but when he streches and breath the pain in his lower right side still there. what could it happened? should i take him to the dr for xrays?.

Yes, take her for X-rays, because she might have fractured a rib. Sometimes, rib fractures are not as painful as other type of fractures, but they have this type of pain that will be continuous for a period of time. Incomplete fractures will ache for 3 weeks, while complete fractures can be painful for up to 6 weeks.
