What Causes Pain In Lower Right-sided Abdomen Above The Pelvic Bone?
For 2 days now I have had a dull ache in the lower right portion of my abdomen, it s just above my pelvic bone. Im wondering what might cause it. If I cough or breathe too deeply too fast it turns into a sharp pain, or if I try to twist this way or that it hurts more as well. This is only the second time I have experienced this, though last time it was much worse. It s been about 1.5 years since it happened last. I also waited till after it went away to get looked at and they said there was nothing wrong with me. I m not sure if it s relevant or not, but I have pcos. I am also overweight though I doubt that, that is contributing to this particular issue. There are no medications that I take regularly so its not a side effect of anything like that.

What Causes Pain In Lower Right-sided Abdomen Above The Pelvic Bone?
Hello, Your symptoms seem to be related to appendicitis. I suggest to do an abdominal ultrasound to confirm the diagnosis. Meanwhile, I suggest you to use painkillers such as Ibuprofen for the pain. Take care Regards, Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
