What Causes Pain In Lower Spine Radiating Towards Buttock, Legs And Foot?

What is causing my back to hurt. I was at work 4 weeks ago lifting a patient and since then I have had a pain in my lower spine that shoots to the right and down into my buttock leg and foot. It almost feels like electric. It has gotten so severe it s hard to do my normal daily activities.

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having Acute PID ( prolapse intervertebral disc ) causing this severe Sciatica pain.
Go for x-ray lower spines.
Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined.
Meanwhile take complete rest.
Avoid weight lifting or bending from back.
Ok and take care.
