What Causes Pain In Mid-abdomen Area, Chronic Diarrhea And Fatigue?

why is there a swelling and numbness across my middle I can burn myself or stick a pin in and there is no feeling. I also suffer acute diarrohea (excuse spelling) and fatigue as I cannot hold food for very long. I take creon, and another powder medicine (but now in tablet) due to pancreatic and liver cancel and am disbetic (controlled) insulin but no-one seems to have an anwser

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pain in mid-abdomen area, chronic diarrhea and fatigue . Well It can occur due to infection , gastritis and IBS . Avoid food groups that can make diarrhea worse like high-fat, fried foods, spicy foods, milk and dairy, and high-fiber foods.


Consult gastroenterologist if it persist for more then two days . Doctor may prescribe lopramide , omeprazole along with antibiotics . Drink water to replace the fluids you’re losing. Drink juice and broth to help replace some of the electrolytes, vitamins, and minerals your body has lost.

Take probiotics food like yogurt and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain. Avoid spicy and heavy food intake specially at night .
