What Causes Pain In Neck And Behind Ear?

I have been to a million doctors. Pain started in my neck and is now in my sinus canals, behind my ears and in my neck. Went through a period when I was fatigued as well. Just go through episodes about once or twice a day. Face gets really hot and the pain is intense. What is wrong?

Hi,

Pain in neck in neck and behind the ear can be due to the following reasons:
- Commonest cause neck muscle spasms.
- Cervical sponditlitis.
- Nerve entrapment.
This can be diagnosed by the following ways:
- Consult your Doctor and request for a proper clinical examination to find any knots, spasms, fibrosis.
- Investigations as per the clinical findings.
MRI of neck that is cervical spine
- Take an anti-inflammatory medicine with painkiller properties.
- Local Rubefacient liniment.
- Neck collar support.
- Muscle spasm relaxants.
- Take rest.
