What Causes Pain In Neck, Shoulder, Arm And Thumb While Treating Shingles?

I have RA just got over shingles still having severe pain in neck shoulder arm and thumb with numbness in thumb weakness in arm. Just got MRI on my neck that said there was a narrowing seen. I also have pain on my right side. Everything is on my right side. Right now I am taking Gabapentin 600mg. OxyContin/acetaminophen 10-325mg. Hydrocarbon/apap10-325mg. Diazepam 10mg. Pain meds are starting to be ineffective is there anything else I can use til I get to my Nurologist? Is this due to shingles or RA?

1. Pain after shingles could be post herpetic neuralgia and since suffering from RA could be Rheumatic pains and since RA is an Autoimmune disease thus people with it are more likely to.suffer from immune related disorders and shingles is one of them.

2. You should visit a Neurologist to get your doubts confirmed and thereafter consult a Rheumatologist.
