What Causes Pain In Ovaries And Labia Majora Before Menstruation?

I have been having pain in my ovaries as well as in my labi majora for about 3 weeks now. The pain in my ovaries started 3 years ago, it would start a week before i got my period and stopped a week after my period. But recently the pain in my labia majora started and it is really scaring me because the doctors are not finding anything. I got an ultra sound done as well as a cbc test.

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Chronic pelvic pain will always need to be investigated. The pain you feel in your labia majora may not be related to this chronic pain you have had for years.Labia majora pain may be caused by conditions like folliculitis, contact dermatitis, Bartholin gland cysts, lichen simplex chronicus, lichen sclerosus, and lichen planus.
Chronic pelvic pain could be caused by chronic PID or other gynecological problems like pelvic masses.
I will suggest you see the Gynecologist for evaluation. The result of your ultrasound would have been very helpful if you posted.
Hope this will help
Best regards
