What Causes Pain In Ovaries Before A Menstrual Period?

Hi, me and my girlfriend have been fooling around a bit our vaginal areas touched and a day or two later she told me she was feeling sore around where her ovaries are located she is due for her period this week but she says she never felt this soreness before when she was getting ready to get her period. Could she be pregnant?
