Hi. I am a 30 yr old female, pretty healthy w/hx of eczema and plantar fasciitis. I am a nurse in a hospital...13 hr days. The past month i ve had a few episodes where either the lower portion of the palms of my hands and the soles of my feet would be tender, swollen, and sometimes red. Last night, when i got to bed, the soles of my feet were warm (which my hands and feet are usually cold), swollen, tender, and intensely burning and itching/tingling. Touching, rubbing, or flexing them only intensified the itching and burning. This lasted for most of the night into this am. It was also painful to walk. After the swellind decreased some, there was a mildly palpable lump near my inner arch left foot. Compared to my feeling the burning/itching down most of my ft bilat, now just my arches are tender . After the swellind decreased some, there was a mildly palpable lump near my inner arch left foot. Compared to my feeling the burning/itching down most of my ft bilat, now just my arches are tender with very mild itching off and on. I ve also had a couple episodes where my palms would itch and burn but not this intensely. I m not sure what is going on.
