What Causes Pain In Pelvis And Thighs?

Good day Doctor I have severe pelvis and left thigh pain. Can this be because of excessive masturbation. I atleast remember having got a catch on my lower left back at work. So not sure what exactly is the cause. Is it the Sciatic Nerve because I dont really feel a pain on any of my bone/vertebrae. Kind Regards, Dhiraj

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my surgical experience, there can be various issues for pelvic and thigh pain, common ones are

- acute muscle spasm of lower back or thigh
- underlying nerve compression
- other pelvic pathology manifesting as odd symptoms

* In my clinic, I give conservative medication trial as per the clinical evaluation and later on if required order x-ray of the lower lumbar spine, ultrasound abdomen & pelvis or other relevant evaluation workup.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
