What Causes Pain In Periods?

I have always had a history of painful periods and abnormal paps. Within the last year now, I m 37, I have had a lot of pelvic pressure and discomfort. In May, I went to my gyno and was told that I now have fibroids and cysts. The colposcopy showed c1n1 cells and I was told to repeat in a year. Also the lining of my uterus is thickening. I was diagnosed 10 years ago with endosalpingosis and there was a blockage in my tubes and bubble deposits in my uterus. This was found during a laproscopic surgery and he also cut my cervical tendons because they were wound tight like a rubber band . This year I have had an increase in pressure, pain during intercourse, abnormal bleeding (sometimes getting my period twice a month), the constant urge to have to go to the bathroom, but then I can t urinate or have a bowel movement, which causes more pressure. I get shooting pains down my thighs and into my back. Recently, this week, I had this excruciating pain that shot down to my vagina and I started bleeding. That night I had terrible cramping and diarhea, and hot flashes (never had before). I saw my doctor the next day and he says a cyst may have ruptured, they did a pelvic ultrasound and today I found out that there is a cyst on my ovary and free standing fluid. I have to wait until monday to find out what is going to happen. What am I looking at here? My doctor had said if there was fluid pooling then I would most likely need surgery. I can t keep functioning with this pain. What could be wrong? I had a blood test for ovarian cancer last may and it was negative. My white and red blood count was fine. Urine test did not show any infection and not pregnant. I just feel like something isn t right. I have this constant throbbing this past week that I have never had before, along with the other symptoms I listed. Please, any advice will be appreciated. Thank you, Marie.
