What Causes Pain In Rib Cage While Breathing In A Asthma Patient?

I have pain in my rib cage area only when I take a deep breath. I am an asthmatic. I take advair 500/50. I am not sick...but it does feels like muscle soreness after a cold or sore from getting a bear hug. Its very strange because I am not sick,& I am not having trouble breathing..

I really appreciate your concern, because of the asthmatic condition such pain and breathing difficulty is very common and this can be best managed with inhaler which contained bronco dilator else this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
