What Causes Pain In Rib Cage While Pressing?

I have had a pain in my rib cage, 2nd rib down from collar bone, for about 10 years. Hurts when I press it. Sometimes I forget about it for months but it's always there when I press it. Could it be an old injury? Not I'll in any other way and it causes me no issues. It,s just there!
