What Causes Pain In Ribs And Dark And Sore Nipples?
Hi i have had no period for almost 3 months after coming off the pill. The last week i have had sharp stabbing pains in my ribs that come and go. My nipples are darker and really sore to touch. Also alot of neck and back pain. I ve done a few pregnancy tests but all negative.i just don t feel my normal self
After stopping the contraceptive pills, it may take some time for regularization of the menstrual cycles. As your urine pregnancy test kit gave negative results, the possibility of pregnancy is somewhat less. During the premenstrual period, some amount of backache, abdominal pain, nipple tenderness, weakness, etc. symptoms can be experienced due to reproductive hormonal fluctuation.
If the symptoms persist, please consult your gynecologist once, get examined and undergo investigations like blood test for pregnancy and ultrasound. If blood test gives negative results and ultrasound findings are normal you may get your periods soon. Meanwhile you can take symptomatic treatment with your doctor's advice.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
