What Causes Pain In Ribs And Pressure Making Breathing Hard?

Hello doctor. I am 19yr old female.64 inches weigh 128 pds. I am active duty in the army and I've been going to the hospital on post but it's like pointless.. For the past year I have been having pain in my ribs.. My left rib feels like it's always Being pushed out towards the front of my body or back towards my back. It's so uncomfortable it hurts.. Sometimes the left rib sticks out noticeably more on some days then others.. Both ribs have pain though.. I have pressure in between which makes breathing hard.. I was diagnosed with asthma and now hyperventilatory syndrome. I'm just so worried. How does your ribs feel broken on and off? I have to keep switching sides while I lay down or it hurts.. I'm in the army and am not getting any help for this problem..
