What Causes Pain In Right Side Of Chest And Ovary?
I have what seems to be two different pains. Since last November I have pain in my upper right chest. Think it s my lungs since it is worse whenever I have a cold. Went to the nurse practitioner twice. He gave me pain pills. No antibiotics. Had a chest X-ray that didn t show anything. But I still have the pain months later. Also have stabbing pain in area of my right ovary. When pregnant with my daughter 8 years ago ultrasound showed a cyst my gynecologist said should be removed. After pregnancy a vaginal ultrasound showed nothing. Then three years ago I went to hospital with pain and non vaginal ultrasound showed the cyst. Went to doctor two months later who did a vaginal ultrasound and saw nothing. Around November when the chest pains began the ovary began hurting too. Could the two pains be connected? Made an appt to see my doc but wait times are two months for appt so any info appreciated
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The pain in the chest is not likely to be related to the pain in the pelvis. You need to get an X-ray and an ultrasound scan done for proper diagnosis. I hope this information has been helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Rakhi Tayal .
